Meet Pat

College Ward has always been special to me.

When I was a child, College Ward provided me with a safe place to play and grow. As an adult, College Ward was a great place to raise my family. Over the course of my 30 years in funeral service for Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, I’ve had the privilege of serving many families in the Ward during difficult times. Now, I want to help in a new way. Serving as City Councillor in College Ward is a natural way for me to expand my community service and caring for others.

For those who want their City Councillor to possess leadership skills, I bring grit, integrity, and a commitment to respectful collaboration.

For those who want their City Councillor to have community service experience, I’ve served on and chaired Boards within my profession and with local community organizations including the Kiwanis Club of Ottawa, the Council on Aging, Kind Canada, and 100 Men Who Care Ottawa.

For those who want their City Councillor to hold academic credentials, I have an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa.

For those who want their City Councillor to be a recognized leader, I was identified as a “Forty Under 40” recipient by the Ottawa Business Journal.

My approach to making College Ward a better, safer, more affordable community for its residents will be no different. I will work hard for you every day I’m in office to make your neighbourhood and our city safer, more inclusive, and a better place to live.

I’m here to give back to the community that gave me so much.

I’m here to help.

In a world in which so many things are uncertain, this is something you can count on.
